For many years teas and tinctures have been used by different cultures to assist in healing and health. There are still a number of herbal teas which are still used today to help with your health. Chaga mushroom tea is gaining some interest for many people. This mild flavored tea is made from mushrooms that grow on birch trees. This tea has been used for a long time in Russia and touted for its healing properties. This is surprisingly not a dirt flavored tea like you might expect a mushroom tea to be but instead a mild flavor not too bitter. Echinacea tea is another tea that has been around for centuries. Echinacia is also known as purple coneflower and is a wild flower that grows across the United States. Many gardeners also grow these pretty purple flowers in their flower gardens. Echinacia tea has been used for centuries and is known to help boost your immune system along with fighting things like the common cold. Another herbal tea that is pleasant and can really help you is mint tea. Mint is a very aggressively growing plant in many areas of the country when planted in the garden. It is an incredibly fragrant plant which can be grown and made into fresh tea or you can purchase it dried. You can use Mint tea to help with soar thoats and calm coughs. Mint is said to help sooth upset stomachs and aid in your digestion. Drinking herbal teas can be good for your heart, however they are considered herbal supplements and you should consult with your doctor first. This will help stop any potential drug interaction problems that you may potentially have.
