Healthy on the go Breakfast Suggestions

Finding time to make a healthy breakfast may seem next to impossible in our on the go world. This could not be further from the truth really. There are a number of things you can do for a healthy breakfast on the go.

Trail mix and kefir can be an extremely healthy breakfast that is great to take on the go. Kefir is a probiotic enriched yogurt drink that can be purchased in single serving sizes. You not only get the calcium from the yogert but you also get immune system helping probiotics. Mixing your own trail mix can create a breakfast that is extremely healthy. Your body will thank you for all of the great things it can gain from eating dried fruits such as banana chips, pineapple, raisins, and cherries. You will be filled and satisfied further when you add a nut protein source along with some granola for fiber.

Consider cutting off a half inch chunk of your favorate cheese, a citrus fruit of your choice, a banana, and two hard boiled eggs to constitute a quick and easy healthy breakfast. This is a great breakfast for when you may have just enough time to sit down and slice up a grapefruit and then get on your way. To speed up your time you can easily boil a dozen eggs on sunday night before bed to store in the fridge.  This gives you a few days worth of eggs. Eggs are an outstanding source of protein and vitamin A. High in magnesium and potassium, bananas are a great choise to add into your on the go breakfast. The grapefruit or orange are both packed with vitamin C and dietary fiber.

With a little creativity you can find breakfasts that are very healthy for you while being quick and easy for your on the go schedule. Breakfast could be argued to be the most important meal of the day as it gets your metabolism running and also brings up your blood sugar levels. Breakfast is so important because it helps our body get ready for the day.
